I need gas money and have some jewelry to pawn. How do I do that–what do I say? What should I expect?
I have opals/diamonds/emralds/pearls. All are set in different rings and the pearls are strung. What do I say to the pawn brokers? I have never done this before.
Oh, God, that just sucks that you have to go to a pawn shop to buy gas. They will not give you very much on the jewelry. Can you do some sort of odd jobs instead to earn cash? check out www.craigslist.org for your locale and check the “etc” job listings. They often have one time gigs like maybe working a day helping to cater a wedding or a weekend helping someone move and you might be better off getting cash from that. Good luck!
