my 7month old son is due to be christened and i have heard people talking about jewellry that can be blessed…..i want to buy my son a gold baby bangle and wondered if i could have it blessed , thank you in advance for serious answers xx
Yes of course you can. Simply ask the priest to bless it. It doesn`t have to be at the ceremony – you can pop in when you know he`s around, take the baby with you wearing the bangle, and ask him to bless it. You would be surprised the things people have blessed. My late mother would never wear, or give to us, any piece of jewellry that had not been blessed. She believed that once blessed it kept you safe.
